There is a trap in B2B marketing: thinking you can solve everything with an online campaign.
Paid media brings volume, leads, scale. But there is one thing it does not buy: a partner's trust. And in B2B, the relationship is what holds the business up.
That is why I put together a national roadshow.
What a roadshow looks like from the inside
It is not just travelling and giving a talk. It is curating the agenda, deciding what that partner needs to hear. It is the script, the production, the kit and the logistics for each city. And it is the follow-up afterwards, so the conversation does not die the day after the event.
I took the brand to the partner network across the country, with the same message everywhere. Standardisation is not bureaucracy. It is the partner in São Paulo and the one in Recife understanding the same thing about who you are.
The lesson
Marketing is not only what scales. Sometimes it is hitting the road, shaking a hand and making the person remember you.
Digital gives me reach. Presence gives me the relationship. Anyone working in B2B who trades one for the other loses on both.
